The Dutch collective has set aside a budget for the Floriade. When split between cultural performances and supporting yogis to attend the Floriade, our budget does not stretch far. And if our own presence is approved, we also need to cover the costs of building our stand. So we would be grateful for any support you can give.
Sponsor a yogi to attend
If you can't come yourself, you might like to help other yogis who have the time but not the financial means, to come and give self-realisation.
Travel costs in the Netherlands are high. To travel from the nearest yogis to the Floriade Expo alone can be around 20 Euros a day.
And then there are also accommodation and food costs. So far we have managed to accommodate visiting yogis at the homes of yogis living near the Floriade or at the Monnickendam ashram. However, we are only able to host a few visitors. So if more of you come, we will need to arrange additional accommodation, whether in hostels, campsites or hotels.
Our own presence
We are delighted that the New Zealand collective is helping us with the design of our own presence exhibition. And the Swiss collective is funding the printing and shipping of the panels to us!
In the meantime, do give a bandhan that the upper Floriade Expo management will meet us soon. And that they will approve our concept!
